HOW MUCH DOES CELLFINA™ COST?
The total cost of Cellfina surgery is based on factors the area and the severity of the cellulite, and the total time needed to perform the treatment will also impact the cost.
THE CELLFINA™ PROCEDURE
The Cellfina™ procedure is a minimally invasive treatment that occurs in a single in-office treatment. Cellfina™ treats the connective bands of fat that pull down on the skin, like a rubber band, creating dimples on the surface.
Patients are numbed, then the suction power of Cellfina™ targets a treatment area on the skin. Next, a small microblade is inserted just beneath the skin to release the septae causing dimpling, which is called subcision. This relaxes the skin and smooths out the dimples that were there.
Soreness or bruising may occur after treatment, but most patients feel well enough to resume all normal activities the day after the procedure.
The Cellfina™ Results
After only one Cellfina™ treatment, results can appear in just three days. Many patients notice an overall improvement and fewer dimples immediately, which will continue to improve as weeks go by. Results last at least two years—the longest FDA clearance for a cellulite treatment.*

FAQs
How is Cellfina different than other available cellulite reduction treatments?
Cellfina is an FDA-cleared treatment that targets the connective tissue bands that cause cellulite. Unlike other treatments that work on the surface, Cellfina goes deeper to release the fibrous bands under the skin, making it a longer-lasting solution for cellulite. It’s also a minimally invasive treatment, meaning it’s less intense than surgery.
Are there any side effects to the Cellfina procedure?
There can be some side effects after a Cellfina treatment, like swelling, bruising, or tenderness in the treated area. These side effects usually go away in a few days.
Since the procedure is minimally invasive, there is less risk of serious side effects compared to traditional plastic surgery.
What is the average recovery time after undergoing a Cellfina treatment?
Most people have little downtime after a Cellfina treatment and can get back to their regular routine within a few days. Some bruising or tenderness might last for about one to two weeks. To get long-lasting results, it’s important to follow the care instructions given by your dermatologist, especially regarding skin care and managing any potential side effects.
